Hello there. I am the great grandson and grandson respectively of the late Kapitans China Chung Keng Quee and Chung Thye Phin.
It is wonderful to see the Chung Keng Quee Temple and the adjoining townhouse cum office Hye Kee Chan, restored.
It is a pity that the restoration was a rushed job - it would have been nice, after all the effort that was put in, not to have bubbles in the paintwork for the doors, for example.
Still, all this should not detract from the wonderful job by all concerned in bringing history to life.
